With hope and optimism, we await the return of the Dacian treasure items stolen from the Drents Museum in the Netherlands. They are not only part of the treasure of the National Museum of Romanian History, but also a treasure of Romanian history, carefully preserved with respect in philatelic collections, as can be seen in the images on the postage stamps issued in 1988 and 2015.
We are convinced that the efforts of the specialized institutions of Romania and the Netherlands to recover the pieces of national treasure will be crowned with success.
