His Grace Bishop Datev Hagopian, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Romania, Exarch of the Armenian Diocese of Bulgaria, and Patriarchal Delegate for the Balkan countries, honoured us today with a visit to Romfilatelia.

At the invitation of Mr. Gabriel Bulumac, General Manager of Romfilatelia, His Grace, together with other Armenian clergy, held discussions regarding the joint project for the upcoming celebration of the consecration of the Armenian Cathedral ‘Saints Michael and Gabriel’ in Bucharest.

The Armenian delegation expressed their appreciation for the stamps of the joint issue released in 2012, dedicated to the Hagigadar Armenian Monastery Church in Suceava County, on the occasion of its 500th anniversary.

At the end of the meeting, His Grace expressed his wish to continue the joint projects and kindly took the time to write a few thoughts in the company’s guestbook:

❤️ „October 3rd, 2025

I had the great joy of being a guest at the invitation of Mr. Gabriel Bulumac, General Director of Romfilatelia, where together we will carry out a project to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the consecration of the Armenian Cathedral ‘Saints Michael and Gabriel’ in Bucharest.

I was also very pleased with the team working here, whom I Bless for their dedication!

Bishop Datev Hagopian”

❤️

If you could choose a postage stamp dedicated to the Armenian community, which one do you remember?

What memories do you have of Armenia?
