July the 15th – Romanian Postage Stamp Day

On July 15th, over a century and a half ago, the first postage stamps issue appeared in southeast Europe, introduced into circulation by the Principality of Moldova – the famous and priceless “Bull Head”. The document represents the birth certificate of International Civil Aviation Organization.
